Q. How long do the castings take to set?
A. Approximately forty minutes.
Q. Do they have to be placed in an oven
or kiln to set?
A. No it is a cold casting system.
Q. How do I return my work to you?
A. Parcel force, all products should be
despatched using the postal service.
Q. Who pays postage costs?
A. Classic Cottages will cover postage
costs, once you start sending your finished work on a regular
basis.
Q. What type of paints should I use?
A. You can use acrylic or water based paints.
Water based paints to be finished with a matt varnish)
Q. Are paints included in my kit?
A. No, however we can provide them, see
order form.
Q. How much space is required to work
from home?
A. Very little space is required, a kitchen
work top or table is all the space you will need.
Q. Where can I purchase extra consumable
materials from? I.e. latex, stonecast powder etc.
A. You can purchase all consumables from
us, alternatively try your local arts & craft supplier.
Q. What colours should I paint the cottages
& buildings?
A. One of our main selling points is that
all of our cottages & buildings are individually painted;
therefore no two are ever the same. We can provide sample
cottages and buildings to give you an idea.
Q. How do I pack my finished goods for
despatch?
A. Painted products should initially be
wrapped in tissue paper, then use either a bubble wrap or
newspaper to ensure good protection against damage in transit.
Q. Once materials have run out, do we
have to purchase another kit?
A. No. Further materials can be purchased
from us see order form. |
